Mi sono affacciata alla finestra della mia prima cella ..Eh sì l’odore di fiori d’arancio è sempre lo stesso, intenso e penetrante che dalle narici invade tutta la mia mente e il mio cuore.
Oggi inauguro il mio blog (parola altisonante per indicare semplicemente uno strumento che raccolga in maniera ordinata i miei post che altrimenti andrebbero dispersi su Facebook) con il ricordo nella mia entrata in monastero 32 anni fa. Il profumo dei fiori di arancio è sempre lo stesso del 1990. Un profumo che mai mi sarei aspettata in un monastero urbano circondato da altissime mura in una delle metropoli più popolose d’Italia. Ecco la mia vita da 32 anni è un incontro con cose inaspettate perché è una vita trascorsa con l’indeducibile evento, come direbbe Mons. Bruno Forte, che ha sconvolto la storia e che ha il dolce nome di Signore Gesù Cristo. Cosa mi turbinava nella mente 32 anni fa?? Tantissime cose ma su tutte il desiderio irrefrenabile di rispondere a invito insolito ma potente per una vita felice. Volevo vivere in una casa grande quanto un castello, volevo rovistare carte antiche in un archivio, volevo fare cose grandi, volevo una vita completamente diversa da quella che avevo vissuto, volevo un motivo bello per alzarmi ogni mattina con il cuore colmo di senso, di felicità e di amore.32 anni fa pensavo di lasciare tutta questa matassa arruffata di pensieri e desideri fuori dalla porta della clausura. Dopo 32 anni posso dire che ho avuto tutto e che quella matassa si è dipanata lentamente ed è diventato un filo rosso molto chiaro con il quale ho intessuto i miei giorni e ognuno di quei pensieri è diventato realtà. Naturalmente la realizzazione, messa nella mani del mio Dio, è stata più grande di quanto avessi potuto immaginare. Non mi sono sentita solo molto amata dal mio Signore ma anche molto stimata e valorizzata da Lui che mi ha ritenuta capace di portare avanti progetti che forse nessuno altro mi avrebbe affidato. No, una vita monastica non si nutre solo di emozioni e sentimentalismi religiosi (quelli finiscono presto grazie a Dio) ma affonda le sue radici nella conoscenza sapienziale della Scrittura, nel rapporto vitale della preghiera nella Liturgia e nella trama di una vita sororale intensa, che accorcia distanze ma non elimina rispetto e crescita autonoma. Dopo 32 anni non sono più la ragazza di 24 anni del 1990, quando non esistevano internet, cellulari e social, ma una donna che ha attraversato tante tappe di vita, che è cresciuta, si è formata , si è realizzata e che oggi entusiasta si prepara ad affrontarne altre sempre con le parole del salmo 119,IV “Corro sulla via dei tuoi comandi, perché hai allargato il mio cuore.”
